# Activity on waff introduces muscular awakening

Our objective is to increase muscle mass in obese people, to enable them to increase their basal metabolism (calories expended by the body at rest). Of course an additional calorie loss will be generated by the physical activity induced by the work on Waff.

Obesity is a recognized pathology that is the leading cause of mortality in the world because it is the cause of many diseases (cancer, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, depression...). It is considered a real epidemic because of the increasing number of people affected.
